⚾💙 Field of Dreams & Ability Sports

The Field of Dreams and Ability Sports program removes barriers that keep children and adults with mental and physical disabilities out of the game—giving everyone the chance to experience the joy of play.

Participants enjoy a custom-designed rubberized turf field that accommodates wheelchairs and assistive devices while helping prevent injuries, creating a safe and inclusive environment for all.

But this program is about more than just sports. It’s about:

• Building friendships
• Growing self-confidence
• Learning independence
• Being treated like any other athlete

Ages: 5–65+ are welcome to participate

🏀☀️ Summer Basketball

Registration: April 20 – May 20
Season: June 6 – August 1
Game Days: Saturday nights

Fee: $35

⚾🍂 Fall Baseball

Registration: June 22 – August 5
Season: August 29 – October 24

Players will play one day per week on either Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday.

Fee: $35

🌟 Abilities Gym & Swim

Specialized one-on-one instruction for children with unique physical or medical needs.

At the Prattville YMCA, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to grow stronger, build confidence, and have fun. Our Abilities Programs provide supportive instruction tailored for children with special needs, ages 3–16. A doctor’s note is required to participate.

⚠️ Please note: Participants may not be enrolled in both Abilities and Group lessons simultaneously.
