Aqua Challenge – A.M.

Our Aqua Challenge class is a moderate-to-intense water aerobics class in shallow and deep water, using flotation devices and water workout dumbbells. Aqua Challenge is included in your Y membership.

Aqua Challenge P.M.

Our P.M. Aqua Challenge class is a moderate-to-intense water aerobics class in shallow and deep water, using flotation devices and water workout dumbbells. P.M. Aqua Challenge is included in your Y membership.

Days:   Tuesdays & Thursdays
Time: 7:45 – 8:45 P.M.
(no classes December 26 – 29)
Fee: Free for Members/$10 Non-members

 


Arthritic Exercise

We understand that quality of life can so often be affected for those individuals that experience the pain of arthritis. Our Arthritic Exercise class was developed by the Y and the Arthritic Foundation. The Y’s Arthritic Exercise class is a series of water exercises, which has the potential to decrease your pain and/or stiffness and improve and maintain your joint flexibility. You do not have to be able to swim to benefit from this program. Arthritic Exercise is included in your Y membership.

Days:            Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Times:          9:00 – 9:55 A.M. or 11:00 – 11:55 A.M.
Fees:            $0 Members | $10 Non-members (per class)


Senior Adult Aquacize

We appreciate the senior adults in our community and understand the importance of having access to programs that promote healthy living through developing the skills and relationships needed to be healthy, confident, and connected to others. Our Aquacize class consists of conditioning exercises and social interactions geared for senior adults. This class focuses on building your muscle strength and flexibility. Exercises include gentle stretching with slow, progressive movements.
